El Fogon Latino — Restaurant in The Hague

My experience is from last Saturday. I ordered the “camarones al ajillo” but they were just shrimps immersed in oil, it was disgusting. The Tostones were raw in the inside. The chicken was good. I asked the waitress for cocktails, she told me that only Tuesdays and Thursdays they had cocktails so I just drank sparkling water. When I left the restaurant I saw in their instagram an advertisement for cocktails during the weekends and even the bartender from de video was there, so I guess the waitress didn’t have any idea about it. I ordered rice & peas with oxtail and it was absolutely delicious. So many flavours that sinks in all the right ways. Highly recommend ordering from here if you want to enjoy quality Caribbean food!

I went in here to have 1 drink and ended up staying for 3 hours. The owner Ronnie was behind the bar, he treated me as if I were a regular. He was wonderful to talk to and answered all of my stupid questions. If you are even close to this bar stop in for a drink.
