The Chocolate Company Cafe — Restaurant in The Hague

I have just noticed that I did not leave a review for this amazing place.

Exceptional chocolate, but the best of them all is Choc Truffles Pure Cocoa. They are amazing and compare to the best chocolates I have tried in Switzerland (similar in texture and taste to Pavé de Genève) for a fraction of the price.

The cappuccinos and lattes are good and sometimes excellent as well. You can usually get a truffle by simply ordering a latte as the drinks are accompanied with a truffle or a cookie. These truffles are often not the pire cocoa ones but have some additional ingredients (e.g. caramel). Which I think is unnecessary for such amazing chocolate. But I recommend you to judge it yourself

We recently had lunch at the newly opened Chocolate Company Cafe near Central Station in the Hague. I had what I thought was going to be a wrap sandwich but in reality was just soft bread rolled up with delicious chicken inside (the size of the "sandwich" is why I've given a 4 rating instead of 5). It was quite small (more like an appetizer) but did leave room for dessert. My husband had a salad with avocado and salmon and he loved it. For dessert we each chose a piece of one of the many cakes in their display case. He had a Black Forest Cake and I had a Chocolate Orange cake. His was very "cake like" while mine was more like a multi-layered dessert with delicious orange...

This place is very nice for everyone who loves chocolate. They have a decent menu, but be advised that for drinkin in, you can't choose from the huge chocolate milk collection,but only from a very tiny staff picked set. That's too bad. Not suitable to have a nice chat with friends, the acoustics are bad and noice levels high. The takeaway chocolate milk is very good, do try the wonderful chocolate fondue for home use, and the chocolate butter. I still like the other brand chocolate bar better, but this one is closer for a quick...
