Momiji Ramen (Turfmarkt) — Restaurant in The Hague

We went here for lunch with friends. Despite being seated in the back of the restaurant it was still quite chilly, which made it a bit uncomfortable.

The staff was friendly in general. However when we indicated that our table felt sticky and asked for it to be cleaned, the response was simply that it had already been cleaned.

We ordered two chicken ramen and a volcano ramen. The chicken ramen broth wasn't very flavorful and the noodle was overcooked (we like it chewy). The egg on top was nicely cooked but unfortunately not marinated. The broth of the volcano ramen also lacked flavor and had overcooked noodles. The "spicy sauce" wasnt mixed into the broth but was one of the toppings on the side of the ramen.

All in all, the ramen was just okay. We wouldn't come...

It's a nice place with good service. Despite the noodles themselves are tasty, unfortunately the ramen overall is very mediocre. I ordered the spicy one but it was not spicy. The broth was very boring. I asked for chili oil but apparently they charge extra for that. I just spent €20 for a ramen and some chicken, but I need to pay for a few drops of chili oil... The food is mediocre, we didn't taste the umami that ramen usually has. It tastes a little like instant ramen broth, with chili oil like the Chinese style of spice, nothing like we expected.
