Eetcafé De Baron — Restaurant in Utrecht

PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE We (me and my colleague) took a seat on the terrace with 30 tables - only 4 tables were occupied (including ours) - on a quiet Wednesday afternoon.

I wanted to have a cup of coffee, and my colleague just wanted to keep me company. However, he was told by a blond lady (I believe it is the same lady who was mentioned in other reviews) that he can't sit with me if he doesn't order something too. He was also picked on his small bottle of water he had with him. He needs this water for his medication and he wasn't drinking from there, he just had it with him; he explained it to the blond lady but was met with the same "you can't sit here".

I have been to many places but I have never experienced such treatment before. I would probably understand it if it was a busy day but since the terrace was basically empty it was just ridiculous.

I read the reviews and saw incredibly rude responses from the owner/manager, way below of what I would call "unprofessional". I would definitely not sit there if I checked the reviews before.

This is the second time visiting Baron, if the dishes aren't good normally we don't visit again. This time I tried sea bass, as last time I tried the Mediterranean beef stew, both dishes are very delicious. It has a good, even higher quality than the normal eetcafé. The only thing need to improve is the wine price on the menu, it has slightly difference on the bill, we asked if that's a mistake but the waitress said the price on the menu is old, they didn't update it. It's not a big difference but customer could wonder why that's not the price they see...

Buiten het feit dat deze zaak aan geen enkele vaardigheden beschikt wat een restaurant over zou moeten beschikken , zoals : sociaal , klantgericht , communicatie vaardigheden etc. Sta ik letterlijk met mijn mond open van verbazing , hoe een ieder met Een negatieve recensie neergehaald word ..

Gelukkig heb ik een brede rug .. en zal ik niet snel zeggen dat ik hoop dat iemand een verkeerde treft .. maar meneer .. u zal deze gaan treffen en dat zal u verdiende loon zijn!

Zoals ik lees en hoe u niet enkel mij op uiterlijk wilt beoordelen .. ben ik erg benieuwd (buiten het asociale om) waar u het lef vandaan haalt , net zoals u andere visverkoper .. (vrouwlief) ik ben letterlijk nog extreem bescheiden geweest met mijn negatieve review .. Netjes gezegd is buiten het innerlijk jullie uiterlijk nog erger!!

(en hou ik het MEER als bescheiden aangezien ik mij niet wil verlagen als jullie tokkie niveau )

Want heb dit in 40 jaar nog nooit gezien en letterlijk nog nooit een negatieve review geplaatst.. ————————————————————————-

..Schandalig ..! Vandaag op koningsdag met een peuter en gezin hier wat willen komen eten , we moesten direct helemaal voor plaats nemen , niet achter .. wij meldde dat dit onmogelijk was met de kinderwagen . Direct werd er met een grote mond gezegd , als hij huilt dan moeten jullie weg ! Direct weggegaan uiteraard hier geen cent uitgegeven! Leek wel of het een viskraam was! Nooit geen enkele cent zal ik hier uitgeven meer .. ben benieuwd hoelang ze dit gaan trekken totdat ze de zaak...
