What a horrible experience I’ve had at this place. Sirtaki looked nice from the outside and we decided on sitting outside because the weather was nice. Once we sat down the waiter ( or the owner) told us in a very rude manner, lunch was over and asked us if we didnt wanna eat across the street (greek fastfood) we ofcourse wanted to have ‘real greek food’ and told him he could bring out dinner menu’s. Once he came with the menu’s he threw it on the table and left again. Once he came back we had not decided what we wanted to eat yet but all of a sudden a switch turned on and he started getting mad. He asked us if we spoke english and we told him, yes and dutch aswell, he didnt speak dutch... Which was ofcourse not a bad thing since we speak English but he decided to start yelling things in Greek (which we ofcourse didn’t understand.) We told him again we speak English and all of a sudden he told us: If you want cheaper food you could just go across the street. This was said in such a horrible tone which made it sound racist as if we couldnt afford to eat at the restaurant. We left asap and we’ll never go back there again. In all my years of living in the Netherlands i’ve never experienced something like this or even close to what has happened. In a short amount of 10 mins the possible owner came across as racist rude and dumb because he couldve earned...

Well I was here on a monday evening. It was busy but not extremely busy.

We ordered our drinks a white wine and a beer. We directly ordered our food.

After 15 minutes we got our drinks. Unfortunately the beer was warm. But i thought okay it can happen.. i will drink it anyway.

After 45 minutes the waitress asked if we already ordered.. we said yes we did.

7 minutes later she said from a distance food is the way.

In total we waited more then an hour for our food. Food was okay not special. I think for the price i expected a little bit more rice or french fries.

When we finished our food (drinks were already empty for a long time) i said to my gf well im going to pay cause. I dont think we will get another drink.

When i talked to a woman who showed me the bill (i think one of the owners) about what happened she offered me a free beer. I denied cause in my opinion i should go back another day when i said yes. But still friendly she offered me one.

I paid the bill and went out.

Then we got followed by a man i think 150 meters further he blamed us that we didnt pay! Lucky i paid via card and showed him. He looked at it and walked away (i think it was also one of the owners) i expected a sorry like my bad.. But no just okay and walked away

I dont think we...

I honestly would leave 0-stars if it was possible. Thought the place looked nice from the outside so I convinced my parents to eat starters there (we weren't really hungry). The guy (I assume it's either the owner or the server) came to us and asked in a very judgemental tone if we were here to eat or not. He then proceeded to give us the menus. Because my dad doesn't speak Dutch very well and the menus were all in Dutch he was struggling to understand what was written down. The server came back a few minutes later, not even saying anything just standing there in front of us holding his pen and pad. I went ahead and told him what I wanted, so did my mum but my dad took a bit longer than us. The server told my dad 'sir, do you speak English? If you want good food just go across the street not here'. We stood up and left. Very very rude staff/owner (??). I don't know if he acted that way because we were ordering starters and not main courses or if he's just a judgemental, rude and unprofessional person. Will never go back and honestly wouldn't recommend unless you want to be judged based on the food you order and/or the...

It was a bit confusing at first being told to order inside the little shop where food was being served and then to take a seat. The little shop couldn't hold the people ordering so we were shooed out then the card machine was having issues with the customer before us. However, the food looked great so we persevered. I'm glad we did as we all ordered pitta bowls which were packed full of whatever we'd ordered be that freshly grilled veggies, halloumi or chicken. It was delicious. We also shared a spanokipita - absolutely fantastic taste but little greasy. We actually ate in the restaurant opposite as it was a bit chilly and there was so much space inside. I bet it's a lovely place for an authentic Greek evening meal. We left full and would definitely recommend!

I am sorry to make this review, but this was a really bad experience and a waste of money. As a Greek, I would advise you to avoid it. 1. The menu is good, but extremely overpriced. 2. The gyros arrived and it was not fresh. I am Greek, and I have never seen that in my life. They have reheated the gyros that was probably cut hours ago. And the price for REHEATED MEAT was 22.5 euros. 3. The "receipt" didn't sum up correctly, adding 3 euros to the bill. 4. A water bottle is at 6.5 euros. I absolutely do not recommend this.
