Barista Café Zoetermeer — Restaurant in Zoetermeer

Such a lovely atmosphere, my favorite coffee place in all of Zoetermeer.

So many positive things to point out: a little corner for kids, equipped with toys for all ages and a bunch of high chairs for babies/toddlers; they really make you feel welcome to visit with children fully equipped diaper changing station roomy and clean toilets - plus there is a big sign pointing towards the toilet, which is a rarity in a country where many places don't even have toilets and those that do usually try and hide them as well as possible several vegan options on the menu - the highlight is the chocolate chip cookie, just heavenly nice soft music playing, not too loud, not too quiet no extra fee for plant based milk! very very friendly staff really good coffee and a ton of flavors/versions to choose from interior design is amazing, it's a pleasure to look at all the details and how they mixed and matched everything (don't forget to look at the super tall ceilings!) outside seating is plentiful and on a great open view location no ashtrays outside (though not everyone gets the hint, unfortunately)

I could give 2.5 stars but it's not possible... Staff are nice and polite.. Environment is cozy.. There is outdoor space and its nice when the sun is shining... i ordered a Traditional Breakfast as you can see in the photos.. Till here everything is fine.. BUT.. The butter was outdated (they've changed it) One small piece of bread for the whole breakfast and you need to buy extra slices if you want! There was no plate for excesses like eggshell.. Banana cake was fresh but quite small! Croissant was smaller than my normal thumb! X-small size Fresh orange juice in a size of small glass.. Very small.. What tradition was this combination? VERY IMPORTANT: based on what i got, it's quite expensive.. €10.25

scrivere in Italiano, no in English is better the Barista Caffè. Okay, Italian bars are a bit different, starting with the interior design, but, hmm, other countries have different designs, different customs, different tastes. Where we were at the coffee, always the same mistake, caffè cappuccino lukewarm (my wife) and (my) caffè espresso almost cold. What's the problems : Throw out the cups, leave the filter holder on the coffee machine, warm up the milk coffee pot and serve quickly. Okay enough, I worked as a barista in my youth and in college time. All in all the service was nice, if tables weren't occupied ask if two people were allowed to sit at a table of four, if not then bad luck. Food priced ok. Dog allowed??? No idea was strolling outside...
