When mentioned to the Indian manager when paying he just said ok and continued to take payment like he didn't care
Very disappointing visit and really not happy. Spent 130 for slop very low class meals and experience. The only person who seemed as tho she was working and wanted to be at work and semi liked her job wad a maori lady. I didn't get her name but she was in a black topSorry for the details but she was the only one helping and trying to look after the floor while the staff stood round the counters waiting on food or left it sitting there hence why it went cold.
I won't to be contacted as this is disappointing. My last visit there they could only do deserts in takeaway containers as they had no plates to serve them on as they were dirty.

Read moreI can describe the dining as tragedy. I went to Denny’s Manukau on the 16th at 6pm from one of the disability organisation. I took 6 people from the disability sector and met with another 2 people from another site from disability with a staff so total of 10 people for one table. I was unfortunate to not even been served for the 2 hours spent at Denny’s. We all ordered, however, there was nothing served to me nor to one of the other person. We followed on our order then came the meal for that person but my one did not turn up. After that I reminded the staff members twice that my order did not come. They checked what I ordered and left. Still no meal came. Everyone else finished their meal. My other colleague went and informed the manager but still nothing was done about it. I decided not to remind but to pay and leave as everyone else had their meals. My colleague paid for their meals including the 2 support person she had. She paid with the card and left for home. I paid for the rest of the 6 support persons I had with me by cash. I was asked by manager at the counter to pay for meals again which my colleague already paid for. I told him it was paid for already and that they have gone. He didn’t say anything then I left assisting the 6 disabled people to van. Another senior comes chasing me saying we haven’t paid. I tried to explain but he just wouldn’t listen. I also told him that my meal did not come after reminders and his response was that’s a small thing. Then he walked back into Denny’s saying I can’t leave till I pay and that his camera shows it wasn’t paid. I felt embarrassed since people were staring at me, I was hungry since I didn’t get served any meal upon requests. And no apology. I rang my colleague and requested her to email me receipts so I showed it to the manager. Even then no apology for all the hassle, embarrassment and blame he put on me. If anyone works for disability sector then you will understand as a support worker how difficult it can be taking people out for dining and then you sit hungry at the table and also what it feels like when you know you have paid and you are being chased. And the hassle running back to show receipts while I shouldn’t be leaving disabled people unattended. Was worst ever experience and worst staffs and managers who are not organised and couldn’t track in their system if the meal was paid for nor could they check their cameras properly. No...
Read moreOur family of 7adults and 3 infants dined here for dinner. Our waitress took the orders which we ensured to repeat our orders and specifically said the extras we wanted. Part of our meals came out without the extras we ordered and no kids meals, all the chips that came with the meals were old and cold. We could not get the attention of a wait person to serve us(we watched them laugh and dance around in the hallway instead of waiting on the tables), we went to the front desk to talk to the manager to organise us service as we were still waiting on meals including our infant meals, (which you would assume would’ve came first) he ended up taking our order for which we were waiting on, he didn’t seem interested in taking our order. He then returned to say that we had not ordered those meals which we clearly said we even repeated the order and made the waitress repeat back to us. By this point our infants were restless as they had now waited 50mins for a small meal, now has to wait another 20mins for their meal. We still did not receive everything we asked for. We were wanting to order dessert, however we did not see another wait person. We again went to the front desk to ask the manager to organise wait staff to take our orders. Once again this didn’t happen so we again went back up and asked for a waiter, this person came himself and took our orders, very disinterested to be doing so. We received this order in a timely manner, however they were not interested in clearing our table and bringing fresh cutlery or napkins. Finally it came to paying the bill, and this was made very hard as the person operating the til was not listening when we were telling them that a lot of the orders were wrong and needed to be changed, instead insisted on arguing the fact. As we then asked for the manager it turned out they were the manager. Once again they showed disinterest and didn’t care about customer dis/satisfaction one person even said we will take your feedback to mind, it was said in quite a condescending and sarcastic manner.
This is disappointing as we have dined here for many years, we will not be visiting this place again and I highly recommend not dining there. The staff and service are very unprofessional and it starts at the top. And food is very expensive for the quality...
