This isn’t the first time our order has been mucked up and I’m sure it won’t be the last. So why do I keep ordering from here?? Purely for convenience and because this store does apologise and rectify the issue. BUT WHY CAN’T YOU JUST DELIVER QUALITY FOOD THE FIRST TIME??
So anyways after a 4am wake up for our Matariki Hautapu in the morning and being cold and such a long day, we thought an easy dinner of pizza and garlic bread would be awesome. I placed the order first at 3pm to be delivered around 5:30pm via door dash, only for the order to be cancelled at 5:20 and a stored credit issued. So then I tried again and it was cancelled again within 5 mins of placing the order. So I called the store, why?? Because I just wanted to use the store credit since I wasn’t getting a refund, I spoke with the staff and a manager and somehow they rectified the issue happening with there system by now it’s 6pm and my partner is home and children are hungry hence why I tried to book this 3 hours earlier 🙄 After confirming my order had finally been processed and a time showing 6:10 - 6:20 delivery I was pretty happy or so I thought… 6:45 and we are still waiting, I call the store twice to follow up and finally the food is delivered…… COLD!!!!!! Like it had been up with us at 4am for Matariki… By now you can imagine I’m 🤬🤬🤬🤬 off and yes my family did eat the food not all tbh but yeah just hoha as by now. So another lot of pizzas are delivered around 8:20 hot and definitely looking a like nicer, thankful but by now we are over it!!!!

For the sides, I specifically ordered one garlic bread and one cheese garlic bread, and I paid an additional $1.50 for the cheese upgrade. When I went to collect my order, no staff member informed me that the cheese garlic bread was unavailable. I only discovered this after returning home and opening my order, where I found that I had been given two regular garlic breads instead. I immediately called the store for clarification. Unfortunately, instead of receiving an apology, I was spoken to in a rude and dismissive manner by a staff member named Dilpreet. He stated that “all Domino’s in Auckland” had run out of cheese garlic bread and questioned me about “what I wanted now.” His tone was argumentative and unprofessional, and he even suggested that I could file a complaint if I wished, as it did not concern him. He also justified his behavior by saying the store was very busy. I want to make it clear that the issue is not about the $1.50 charge—it is about the lack of communication and the poor way I was treated as a customer. A simple apology at the point of collection and notification of the unavailable item would have resolved the situation. Instead, I felt disrespected and frustrated by the response I received. I kindly request that this matter be addressed, both in terms of customer communication (informing customers when items are unavailable) and staff training in handling customers with professionalism...
Read moreThe Domino's Feedback form isn't working so Google it is. My dad ordered and paid instore at Papatoetoe. I went in to pick it up and the manager (I assume) recognised me and said '[my dads name] no mayo'. So I thought great this week my pizza will be correct and have no mayonaise. The staff member checks my pizza before handing it over, and it was wrong. He called the female staff member over who'd made it, and instructed her to remake it. He hands me the wrong pizza that I can have and I go to leave the store, he gets my attention and hands me my dads pizza and say 'take both, we'll remake them'. I confirmed 'you will remake both pizzas', which was confirmed. Whilst waiting in the car he comes to bring me only my pizza remade. He denied agreeing to remake both. I told him that why would I have agreed to have the other pizza sitting in the car getting cold if they weren't remaking them both, I wouldn't, who wants cold pizza. Instead of making the pizza he offered a free garlic bread. He eventually went to make the other pizza and had to force him to take my remade pizza to keep it warm. Staff not reading an order two times in a row is beyond frustrating and disappointing. Don't allow customisation of food if you can't deliver on that, especially when it is simply no sauce. I am beyond disappointed that my pizza was wrong again, and yet again didn't get fresh hot pizza, rather mediocre warm pizza. The staff clearly need lessons in...
