The use of Polystyrene containers for hot food needs to looked at.

We ordered a large amount of fried bread (100+) for the second time since 2 years ago. We noticed that it had a funny taste. It tasted exactly the same as it did the last time we had it; tasted like the smell of a brand new box of polystyrene. Everyone that tasted the bread noticed as well and we had to put the bread on the side but eventually biffing it in the bin.

After doing some google research on this and speaking with others I found that using these boxes with hot food release toxins called dioxin, benzene and styrene. Its actually banned in some states for the use with hot food.

The point of this post/review is to make the franchise store aware of the dangers of the of these containers with the use with hot food. Had we not tasted the chemicals in the bread then we would still be eating poison. We could've called into the store to tell you but let be honest, its so busy there that the cashier who also picks up the phone while doing a million different other things would forget to even pass on the message to the...

Absolutely horrified that the girl that served me didn't know what a flounder was.

Am very tired having worked all night and stopped in on my way home. Was my first time there. Had heard many positive feedback so went to check it out.

It was so packed the food must be that good. I personally can't be bothered waiting there was literally 20+ people waiting for their orders.

I got me a flounder and asked for 2 raw fish. I get home and discover the silly girl that served me gave me 2 different cans of fish. I'm so tired I can't be bothered going back.

In fact I will never go back because there's just so many hungry people.

Ordered kina, mussels, raw fish, fried bread, and crumb fish – the fish was decent, nothing special, but the cream pāua was absolutely disgusting. It tasted old, slimy, and like it had been sitting around for days. First time trying it from here and definitely the last.

For a place that pretends to be a proper seafood shop, serving pāua that bad is embarrassing. It’s not just a disappointment – it’s a joke. Shows how little pride or care they actually have in what they’re selling. I could get fresher, cleaner pāua off the rocks myself than the slop they’re trying to pass off as food.

Won’t be touching that again, and honestly starting to question if anything in that shop is worth the money. One bad dish exposes the whole operation – careless, lazy, and not...
