We stumbled upon this Chaap truck in Sandringham by accident, and wow, what a discovery! Having tried Chaap in many places across India and New Zealand, this one really stands out.

We ordered the Afghaan Chaap, which came in a semi-gravy style. Although we usually prefer a drier version, we hadn't specified our preference, but to our surprise, the semi-gravy version was incredible. The marination was perfectly balanced, with spices that packed a punch without being overpowering.

Even though we like our Chaap on the drier side, the flavor of this dish was so delightful that we’re eager to go back and try their other offerings, including their Chaap rolls and momos. We're not sure if they have a dry version ( like paneer tikka ), but whatever we had...

We recently had an exceptional experience. Got 3 kind of different chaps all of those was outstanding, with a perfect balance of flavors and textures but achari chaap was a hit.

The service was attentive and knowledgeable by YAAD and he was happy to answer questions about the dish as he wasn’t busy busy as usual.
