Spicy Potato Noodles — Restaurant in Albert-Eden

Really tasty and authentic potato noodles! I don't know anywhere else in Auckland that sells potato noodles and I was overjoyed when I found this place - really took me back to China. Loved both the sour & spicy soup as well as the tomato one. Very good prices and good portions! Potato noodles come with a very decent amount of bean curd, seaweed, bok choy and 2 quail eggs. The only thing we didn't like were these deep fried (?) meatball-like bits that were also included - we didn't eat these as we didn't like the texture and taste but apart from that it was an overall very enjoyable experience and will definitely be coming back! If you like noodles with chew then the potato noodles are a must get! Partner and I got the original flavour in small and it was a pretty hefty portion. Also got the potato, eggplant, pepper stir fry and stir fried pork slices in sauce, both excellent as well. The pork dish came with tofu skins as a sort of wrap and flavours are similar to Wang Wang Spring Pancake further down Dominion Rd. Will definitely be back to try more dishes! Went here with friends after the rugby. Order dumplings for entree - They came out when we had finished the others dished. Order sweet and Sour Pork was terrible little pieces ot pork, no taste - Ordered chicken - Tasted like popcorn chicken that had been left on the bench for 3 days. Never offered rice. We all felt sick after dinner. Spoke with lady and said chicken was terrible, she just laughed and said $34 each !!. We will never ever go back to this place. Worst restaurant I have...
