The food over here is exactly like back home which Punjabi Indian restaurant serves (back in Gujarat).

Must trys:

Mix veg Dry, sizzler starter perfect crispy and crunchy mixed vege made in indo Chinese sauce 🤤🤤🤤

Kaju Paneer Masala Recommended by owner, I thought it will be very sweet but I was wrong. It'd perfectly tempered (not too spicy - hits absolutely perfect spice level)

Could be spicy for some people but as per genuine India like food standard it's not super Hot.

The gravy from the very first bite reminded me the Indian Punjabi restaurants I used to visit back home. I'm very serious when saying this, every bite kept on reminding me - how they managed to replicate this but I kept on eating.

The owner Divyang and his team have created something magical.

Bringing true Gujarati flavors that we get back in Gujarat.

Simply Quality, Delicious vegeteratian food with extensive menu.

Don't read any more reviews, just go and order two things I've shared with whatever naan bread and let food speak for itself.

You guys have attracted one loyal customer and many referrals. Just because of quality and flavors of your food which 95% of Indian restaurants in New Zealand fail to do.

We're really into vegetarian food so having recently heard of this newly opened restaurant, we thought we'd give it a go.

Food 4/5 The menu first of all is one of the most extensive menu I've come across. It's got a vast variety of Indian, IndoChinese and even Mexican with an Indian twist. Everything was flavorsome but personally I like my Indian street food a bit more tangy and spicy. Just a personal preference.

Service 5/5 The waiting staff were super friendly and willing to explain everything in detail. They were smiley and cheerful during the entire dinner session which is something I appreciate.

Atmosphere 5/5 This is a family restaurant so it's probably not a great venue for a date. No qualms from us as the overall environment was very welcoming and vibrant.

We'll be coming back here for sure as we barely made a scratch in the menu. Looking forward to trying other tasty...

My parents have a tradition of visiting the temple and then going to Lunch for a Gujarati / Rajasthani Thali... I called the restaurant at 11, requested if it was possible to cater for us 8 + 4 (added after half an hour)traditional Gujarati Thali .. the lady said... she's call me back after discussing with the chef.. YES... They agreed and what a wonderful meal... Jeera limbu/ lemon soda/ mango lassi were our drinks of choice followed by the hot yumm puri with Shreekhand filled with pistachio.. The Care and attention to detail they gave was amazing... They knew that the parents didn't enjoy the background music..so the restaurant was quite with laughter and talks...did I mention the yummy food.. Thanks for making it possible.. all the team at Swagat.. All the very best..May the year ahead be filled with plentiful happy customer's......
