My mum recommended this place to me as she really liked one of the male hair stylists 'Odo' I think? Nobody else is good apparently, but I didn't know until after I shared my bad experience with mum.

Anyway, he wasn't available when I went in, so I just went with anyone. The lady there was plain rude. I have a feeling she was the manager as she directed the other staff around. She showed no interest in the customers at all, and bluntly told me to sit down. It was awkward because I didn't know whether she meant to continue waiting or take a seat at the chairs, so I asked but judging from the look on her face, I may as well have told her a racist joke lol.

The haircut itself was okay but when we went to pay, she took one look at my husband (who let me experiment hair cutting on) and again, with that expression of hers, said "did you cut that yourself? Can't believe you would dare walk out on the street looking like that".

I wasn't very good at Mandarin Chinese at that time, so I didn't realise what she'd said at the time, until hubby told me. Definitely not a way to attract customers. Never going...

The worst experience I had. arrived at the hair dresser around 6pm, the store was empty, just wanted a quick cut. told the hair dresser how I wanted cut, he doesn't care what I told him, and just went alone with his own way. my fringe hair looks like it had been bitten by dogs, looking like a leaf of cabbage sitting on top of my head. Because the length of hair is all the way to my shoulder, it was really obvious that the two sides of my hair was uneven, when he washed my hair and dryed it off, it felt like he was trying to give you a wipe down, removing all the makeup off my face, I was really upset at that point, but I didnt speak a word. Because he was in a rush to shut the store, and there was no other person in the store I could speak to about the situation so I left. The guy gave me the hair cut was a darked skin , skinny and short guy. I went back the next day, wished that they could fix it up abit more, the manager and the guy cut my hair was also there aswell, the attitude from them was just appaling, all I got from the manager was an slack apology, and she refused to give a refund.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS HAIR DRESSER, THE PRICE YOU PAY AND THE SERVICE YOU GET IS COMPLETELY ON THE TWO DIFFERENT ENDS...

The barber here really knows his stuff. Always very happy attitude and loves what he does. He does have some staff that work for him that have their own clients and will cut hair for walk ins. Very reasonable price including a wash. English is not his first language so if you try him be forgiving. Other wise if your Chinese is good, then you should try this place! Other stylists speak English if you need someone that does. Wait times are fast, usually busy on the weekend. Been going here for more than 12 years, and it's still a good place to...
