I had one of the worst dining experiences here. The food was disappointing, and the service was equally poor. One of the staff members was wearing earphones and seemed to be talking on the phone while serving customers — incredibly unprofessional. There was no sense of coordination, and everything felt chaotic and poorly planned. The food wasn’t served on time — my friends were left sitting and waiting for ages, and we were all extremely upset with how we were treated. My friends had come all the way from the South Island, and I wanted to give them a good experience — but this restaurant completely let us down. "I am struggling to eat it." - This was literally the phrase used to describe this experience. The food was so incredibly bland it made plain water taste spicy. There was absolutely zero flavour in either the dahl makhani or the paneer masala, with the paneer being dry. I do not normally leave reviews, but I am a massive fan of Indian food and have eaten in many cities and this was potentially the worst that I have come across... This lack of taste coupled with the poor service from a rude staff member at a different location within the same franchise has made tonight incredibly underwhelming. We visited for my daughter’s birthday and had a great experience as a family. The staff were friendly, and the restaurant wasn’t too busy when we arrived. Our orders were taken quickly, though the wait for food was a bit longer than expected—so if you’re really hungry, this might not be the place for a quick meal.
