Be careful of the “forgot to charge you for the drink” scam, these guys tried to charge my wife twice for sushi when they realised they hadn’t charged her for the drink on the counter, they then refused to provide the eftpos receipt for the transaction and claimed it declined! She had to bring up our bank transactions on her phone to prove she’d paid, then for this guy she was served by tried to claim he didn’t speak English and she had to go through all this with another staff member! Popped into St. Pierre's sushi today got the combo half salmon and avacado, katsu chicken, and avacado. They were both tasty, I also purchased a small seaweed pack, which was nice! Probably one of the best sushi stores in Tauranga in my opinion. They are always very clean, always greeted with a friendly smile and service as soon as I step inside the door.
