We booked a French high tea for Mums birthday. Cafe is beautiful, lovely decor and beautiful China and tableware. Service from staff was good.
Food not so much, firstly mince savoury which is an odd choice for a high tea, was full of nothing just pastry, quickly rectified so no issue and understand they buy them in, but its still what is served. Sandwich looked like it had mould on the bread, again sent it back was told it was cream cheese? Chives we were told but not convinced. Scone was lemonade and raspberry, it was so dense and not pleasant to eat. It should of been a plain scone with cream and jam for a high tea.
The most disappointing part no one mentioned or wished Mum a happy birthday, what's the point of asking on your booking form??
All of this feedback given to duty manager who gave us $6 off and apologized. She was very good but we were so disappointed in this high tea it warrants a review for others to be aware. Great location, good staff, reasonable price but below average food.

The eggs were cooked great, there was toast which was fine and hash browns which were also fine but, I had a spoonful and a half of beans, shrivelled mushrooms luke warm, and 1 tiny piece of bacon. Ordering a âbreakfastâ normally involves sausage or at the very least more than a tiny piece of bacon. It was the opposite of BIG. It was so disappointing, it was tasteless. I will honestly never go there again for breakfast. It was basically egg on toast, and a bit more. My husband had eggs Benedict, which he said was pleasant enough but just for reference, hollandaise sauce is made from butter, and does not come out of a squeeze bottle. It looked like cold margarine to me. I my sound like a grump but if I am paying $30 I expect a good meal, and I didnât get it. I am giving you honest feedback so this can be rectified for your...

I've lost count of the times I've visited, but each time feels like a special occasion. My absolute favourite treat there is their pot of tea paired with a warm sconeâutter perfection! What makes the experience even better is the friendly atmosphere created by the owners and staff. Their recent upgrades have really elevated the ambience, making it a fantastic place to unwind and enjoy a relaxing day. I can't recommend this place enoughâwhether you're a local or just passing through, it's definitely worth a visit. Oh, and did I mention they're dog-friendly? It's a big plus in my book! Plus, there's a dog park nearby, so you can treat yourself and your furry friend to a lovely outing. A big thanks to Paris for the Weekend for consistently delivering amazing food...
