The Plough Hotel — Restaurant in Canterbury

I had been told go to Pough Hotel " Quality of Service Great food good accomindation , Excellent Customer Service ". I asked about getting a room for night .

The Bar Maid was nothing short of very Ruded at best, stating there were no rooms available, "we're full " no rooms available, I then asked her when there be rooms available? For me ";never " Words to that effect ! I was shocked by here response! Not the Best Customer Service in the World, with front of House staff like that Not Good for business She was very Rude very immature

Went for dinner last night, we had a very big table of 20 something people, staff were slammed, seemed like half the town was there for dinner as well, food was amazing , had the wrapped chicken , if its busy expect a bit of a wait , but its worth it, the wee 18 year old waitress giving us marriage advice was priceless ( married 35 years ) such a great sense of humour , had a great time , staff were fantastic, 10/10 will go back. We had a lovely evening, just a bit of feedback -chicken strips for a child’s meal was very over cooked, dry and too hard and almost the same as the chicken in the burger. Quite a lot of salt on chips and I would probably recommend no salt in the kids chips. Can be added if the parent/child wants it. Love the touch of the vege sticks for the kids too.
