Was here today. Said they closed at 4pm. Got there at 3.15pm and ordered a Smoothie (which was good!) and then sat outside on one of their chairs. At 3.22, one of the girls came out and told me ‘Sorry, we need to put all the outdoor chairs away now’ and I had to get up and go… Had I known, I would have gone and sat at the cafe across the street. I understand you need to start tidying up as you near closing time, but if I’m the only person at the cafe and I’m using ONE chair outside, you could prioritize putting other things away and then come for the outdoor chairs later so that I can enjoy the purchase I just made at your café. Otherwise, your official closing hours should be earlier. Also, would have been different if the girl had told me I was welcome to sit inside but they just needed to put the outside chairs away right now, but she never did that. It was just like a ‘hey, you need to go now.’ Not impressed and I feel like whoever the owner/store manager is wouldn’t think this was...

This place has excellent coffee, excellent food and baking. The coffee beans that they use are grinded in their own large machine to make a delicious product with an authentic taste. The bagel that I had was lovely, one minor thing, the avocado was a little bit hard in some areas but that is mostly due to the season rather than the quality of the avocado. Otherwise the bacon inside the bagel and the bagel bun itself was delicious. Finally the cinnamon scroll was also profound. Warm and tasty. One of my relatives had some berry pancakes which turned out to have stewed rhubarb mixed in to give a beautiful taste. This was from the breakfast menu that is exclusive to the bush inn place. Overall, if you want high quality cafe food and coffee, Black and White is an excellent choice. Went here for breakfast just the other day and got an iced matcha (i requested soy milk and no cream/ice cream), and a mixed berry chocolate cake. I think it cost about $13.90 all up.

The photo's lighting doesn't quite do it justice but it not only looked gorgeous, but it was also absolutely delicious! The cake was warmed up and it was so gooey and rich and decadent. Absolute treat haha
