Not exactly local to me, but I decided to try it based on all the good reviews. Good points: The servings are massive. Large pieces of good quality fish and half a scoop of chips was more than enough to feed two people. Cooked well and no grease! They also give you a choice of regular salt or chicken salt. Bad points: The batter on the fish was a bit thicker than I'd like, the chips were slightly soggy (only slightly) and there were a lot of scrappy little bits of chips. Conclusion: I'll continue going to Hillview Fish Supply on Barrington Street because in my opinion their chips...

Batter was chewy. Chips were dry ends and the burger was uneatable, it all was. Bought a double meat with bacon, patties were so dry like cardboard and only had a tiny bit of lettuce and tomato sauce in them. The whole lot ended up in the bin. This was at 5.30pm on a Saturday....
