We stood at the counter for fully 7 minutes before the bored looking team member came to talk to us. We gave our orders, and the young lady went about her work, producing our food, which took a further 12 minutes or so. While we were waiting for our food, we went and sat at a nearby free table. A young lady with her young son, sat at the next table, struck up a conversation with us, during which, she declared that the service was shocking, And the food quality was terrible too. I have not been to a burger king in about four years or so. Based on today's experience, I am highly unlikely to go to burger king again. Their food used to be top notch, Now it is beyond terrible.
Their surly staff were inattentive, letting customers stand without even acknowledging them, and being uninterested at best, was well below what I have experienced in the past. The table we sat at was reasonable, Several of the other tables had food scattered all over them, Empty paper cups, And torn burger wrappers all over the tabletops. There seemed to have been some sort of catastrophic explosive decompression at the soda dispenser, Which was sticky, Covered in different coloured soda puddles, And the paper tubes from their paper straws, littered the counter. It seems that there hadn't been a cleaner pass by this machine in several days. The toilet appeared to have some sort of explosive diarrhea incident in there, The wash basins were in a similar state to the toilet cubicles, The floor had an appearance that a stampeding herd of cattle had recently passed through, And the smell was utterly indescribable. I understand that these toilet facilities are shared between burger king and the z garage, But that doesn't make it better, It actually makes it worse, because it means that two lots of staff have blatantly ignored their cleaning duties! Read moreThis review is solely based on the rude red haired lady who was working on the drive through tonight Tuesday the 12th of October. While I was trying to turn the panel on the eftpos machine so that I could see the buttons, this woman rudely said to me you cant pull it any further towards you or I will drop it and it will hit your car, I replied I'm trying to turn it so that I can see and she huffed at me. I am actually a regular customer and they always pass the machine to you so that the stick is hanging in the air. Also she didnt put the drinks out far enough on the serving ledge so I could barely reach them and had to open my door, the server had turned away and I said to my daughter they should make an extender so that we can reach (like McDonald's have) to which my utter amazment was not only heard by the sever but completely misinterpreted so that she rudely retorted we cant actually hand you your items! While the words may not seem harsh, her mannerism was obnoxious and her tone was rude and demeaning! And this is the second time I've had a bad experience being served by her! I dont know if you had a bee in your bonnet tonight or if this is your level of customer service skills but there is no need to be so rude! I’ve only ever seen two employees here actually look like they’re doing anything - everyone else just moves burgers around while they stare at the screen or dawdles around in painful circles.
It’s always sloppily made. Cold. Old. The restaurant is filthy. The refill drink station always tastes like soda water. The staff are useless, and countless times have been rude. App never works (standard BK issue tho). The WiFi rarely works. They never get my order right (it’s not that hard).
It’s appalling. I complained to HQ (or whatever) once - they did nothing to remedy the situation except tell me they’ll “have a talk” to them. Clearly they haven’t otherwise it wouldn’t still be in this abysmal state.
