Finally the new cafe Fendalton needs!
We live in the neighbourhood and typically go into the CBD or elsewhere for good coffee and food because the options in and around Fendalton are average (Bakermans is an exception for its consistently high quality cakes).
We were beyond thrilled to see fresh faces* behind the tools earlier this week so decided to drop by for coffee and cake - both were excellent. We were fortunate to speak with the new operators who were both lovely, curious about our preferences and clearly talented in what they do. All of the food is made onsite, which shows. Based on first impressions, we will be repeat customers for sure. Will follow up with another review later.

Now licensed for beer and wine, including both non-alcoholic and regular Budvar, a classic Czech beer. More seating upstairs....

Second visit, coffee OK but enquired if owner knew who was parked on signed Mobility Park as I have a permit for same. Despite pointing out the highly visible car, owner denied knowledge. Turns out it was owners car and was untruthful with response. Cafe has signage that reads "4 car parks available" but each day owner parks on one of them so not true. Rather stupid to occupy a customer parking space. Have not been back to...
