Sweetargentos Alfajores — Restaurant in Christchurch

We just tried the alfajores now-- WOW WOW WOW. I have to admit I was a bit nervous because usually people who don't do a lot of vegan baking (we bought the vegan alfajores) struggle with it, but these are SO perfect and smooth. Not too sweet, not too heavy, just right. My partner who doesn't like sweet peanut butter loves them as well so I'm doubly impressed! They came packaged up so beautifully too they were almost too perfect to eat! I also bought some orange vanilla cookies for a friend and she loved receiving them from MaBe. It really makes your day when you can enjoy a small, locally made treat that's as delicious as it is pretty. It's obvious there's a lot of love that goes into these. I’m so grateful for Maria Bella! I decided to give it a go after seeing so many raving reviews on Google. And omg her Argentinian biscuit is so so good. My husband is not a fan of sweets, but he couldn’t stop eating them. It has the balance amount of sweet. Which I love, then I placed a second order as a treat for my colleagues as I was leaving. Silly me I placed the wrong pickup date and was panicking, but Maria Bella was the sweetest soul she made it happen for me with very clear and prompt communication. Having part of my family living in New Zealand now, I wanted to surprise them with something traditional from Argentina. A friend of mine suggested this new place called SweetArgentos. OMG, this place is amazing! they have some of the most beautiful alfajores i ever seen. I ordered a couple of dozens, beautifully decorated as a gift.
