Beyond disappointed. Wish we read the reviews prior to eating here. We were passing through on motorcycle trip, and was not easy to look up reviews while pearched on bikes. Ordered lamb madras, and brother ordered a vegetarian meal. They came out tasting exactly the same. Exactly. And as a madras, well was like no madras I've ever seen, nor eaten before. Was like they used the same sauce for the two meals, yet the meals were completely different. Asked MEDIUM HEAT, what a mistake. Was so stupidly hot, we could hardly eat it. And i eat at alot of indian restaurants, and like some heat. Have chilli flakes on most of my meals. Would have been the same heat as asking for a HOT vindaloo at any Indian restaurant around christchurch. When eating the odd peice of lamb, i got worried. Well, 45min after leaving, i was on the side of the road with it all coming back out, burning my throat again, but this time burning my nostrils.. ended up a grueling ride to our next destination, being mt cook campgrounds due to stopping at this particular restaurant. Gutted. On the bright side, Young kiwi, possibly Australian girl serving us was lovely. Super friendly, exuded niceness. But rated service so low due to the indian chap whom...

We ordered Butter Chicken and Korma Chicken and both came with uncooked chicken, they were all pink inside. When we complained and said that we didn't eat it because it's dangerous, they just said "that's ok". I left half of my dish and had to pay the full price, didn't get offer to have a new one. They didn't even apologize.

We ordered samosas as entrees and just got them when we were already eating our dishes.

And the service is also not good. They brought the food but no plates so we had to wait about 5 minutes for someone to show up so we could ask for them, because the front of house was talking in the kitchen the whole time.

We saw they only have 4.0 but still decided to give it a chance. What a regret. We don't recommend it,...

Food used to be really good, however after tonight I won't be back again.

Got told we need to pay an extra amount to eat in - after we had already paid for the food. We ordered a Korma and Rogan Josh, both hot and both chicken. When it came out the korma had no flavour or spice, it tasted like plain cream. Rogan Josh was oily, and lamb instead of chicken and also had no spice to it.

After informing the manager, he brought out chilli powder to add to the food - which still had no flavour, but atleast had some spice now.

Very disappointed in the food and the service. Place has gone downhill since the start of the year, which is sad because it use to be...
