Horrible experience, owners were so rude to me and claimed my card “declined” when I had lost the money out of my account. She was trying to make me pay twice whilst calling me stupid over and over. They GRABBED my phone out of my hand without permission and looked through my bank details. Took photos of me for no reason! Very childish especially since I am under 18. Apart from this they were very rude to my friends, calling me and them stupid when we walked out. My friend apologised even (when we were not in the wrong) and they still mocked us. Which is rich when they weren’t elaborating the issue, instead they were just shouting “DECLINE” in my face, when I clearly had the money. On top of this, I didn’t even get my food. I popped in to this bakery for the 2nd time today and was very friendly mentioning how delicious the chocolate coconut slice was, and how it was just how my mother used to make it. The woman was soooo rude she ignored my comments, talked about the payment and looked straight past me. As I was leaving the guy popped his head out the back door and just stared at me - it was quite disturbing - I smiled and said goodbye but again was ignored. Had a steak and pepper pie and it was quite good. Beef was tender and pepper stew peppery, that typical black pepper tingle. Concerning the service, people in the revies make these people out as very rude and no interest in their clients, and I see where they are coming from.
