Very popular place in takapuna, and generally, when I see faded food photos on the wall, they've been here for a while. The touch screen at the door is new and easy to use, but for a first timer, you'll be scrolling through for a while to see what you want. Combination fried rice 9.5/10 Everything about this dish is near perfect, but i noticed there was no fried egg through the dish. Must use a decent wok to get that amazing smoky char on the rice, and the meat is a nice sized piece. I'll be coming here again I the future. A staple takeaway In takapuna, and it's not going anywhere.

Ordered Steak and Bacon burgers and steak and egg burger. Was very disappointed. When previously purchased these a few years back, they came with a meat pattie, tomato, onion, lettuce and a piece of steak, from what I remember. Was so nice... we decided to treat ourselves. Advertised on their website as containing Scotch Fillet. Tonight’s burgers were lettuce, what appeared to be thin schnitzel meat and an egg or piece of bacon, nothing else! Super disappointing taste wise and to top it off my egg had a large piece of shell in it.

Nasi goreng consisting of Chinese style chicken fried rice topped with Indian curry powder, pineapple chunks, 3-4 bits of Chinese style silken beef and two prawns. Broccoli & cauliflower. Neither the wife nor I could tolerate it but the neighbours LOVED it. Nasi goreng should be rice caramelised with kecap Manis and shrimp paste. This is nothing like nasi Goreng (my zero rating is just for NG, I've eaten at this place plenty of times & been very happy) and it's my fault for not going Malay/Indonesian before ordering

i dont want to be too harsh because partly it is i dont like chinese food it's always drenched in oil and Im guessing it's not extra virgin olive oil. I got nasi goreng i expect something more malayasian or singapore style but it was chinese for sure. It was essentially oily rice with lots of curry powder frozen vege and a decent amount of meats, a positive. Also there was a piece of chicken which had not been heated through properly and was only luke warm. Some might like it but it wasnt for me actually I felt traumatised by the meal tbh surely they can do better or atleast provide a better description of...

Love the fried rice!! Tried plain fried rice, bami goreng, chicken chow mien, lemon chicken, sweet and sour pork, and salt& chili prawn today. Recommended: Fried rice, vegetalbe chow mien and salt&chili prawn - they were outstanding! Lemon chicken & sweet and sour pork: batter too thick but tastes still good, great price for the quality Bami goreng was so-so to me Overall: great place, the deep fried doesn't have fishy taste which I loved so much, Kind staff who recommended salt&chili chicken (many thanks to her), the best Chinese takeaway place in Auckland. Will visit there again trying...
