I work in hospitality in Taka so have been wanting to try this place for a while - it's cute inside and has a massive menu, so many nice options! While I understand that organic, healthy food comes at a higher cost, I do think $24.50 for the vegan breakfast was a bit much - the plate was mostly dominated by tomato and spinach; could have done with more of the vegan hollandaise and another rosti as there was only one. As a coeliac I asked for gluten-free bread, and was a little disappointed that one small piece of toast came with the meal. It was tasty but definitely portions could be a bit better for the price? The lady was lovely and discounted the extra cost for the toast when I queried why the cost had gone upto $26 (definitely too expensive) - where I work gluten-free bread comes at no additional cost.    Read moreTried this place about 4 months ago, horrible coffee. The milk was so hot, it smelled cooked. Very flat and obviously made by someone with very little training or experience. Sour espresso, un drinkable. Went back today, I though I'd give it another try and chose AN AMERICANO, literally the most mistake friendly coffee. I'm not sure what beans these guys use, if there was some defect in the bean or a dirty machine or what. Chemically, meaty flavour, the grossest. Got a caramel slice too, meh. Much better raw treats in other cafes, not to mention cheaper. Walk a few steps down and get a beautiful coffee from ark, cross the street and get a lovely Kokako coffee from mimosa, kitty corner is centro which serves an amazing flight long black. Street organics, train your baristas to dial in a grinder, clean your machine, change the beans,...
