TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE . Went to get half my hair bleached. Hair dresser made my hair blue. Manager wanted to correct it by bleaching more. I said I’d prefer not to as I have a sensitive scalp. They didn’t want me to be seen leaving their hair dresser with messed up hair. I stayed and had it bleached 6 times more. I cried she told me I shouldn’t be upset because my scalp isn’t getting burnt. However after 8 hours in the chair bleaching my scalp I came home with puss and blood weeping out of my hair. THEY MADE ME PAY FULL PRICE FOR THIS TO BE DONE!!!

It’s now 2 years since this happened and I’m late writing this because I’m realising how traumatised I am every time I get my hair done and I think something needs to be said about this.

side note: Hair dressers assistant was so kind and empathetic as was the girl who messed up my hair - The hair dresser who insisted on correcting it however was dismissive and invalidating.

I had a Japanese Head Spa + Blow Dry treatment on Friday with Koji. This is such an incredible treatment... I was blown away! First Koji analysed the condition of my scalp and showed me some high resolution images of the hair follicles/scalp area. He took time to educate me on the importance of scalp treatments and health. Next a treatment product was massaged into my scalp (dry). Then I was taken to the wash basin where my scalp was massaged and shampooed... so relaxing. And they have these incredible beds that lay flat and massage/vibrate in a private room. So you're very comfortable and can really relax. The whole experience took about 1 hour. To finish my hair was blow dried. Honestly, my scalp has never been so clean! Highly recommend this as an add-on to another service, or even as a...
