Muffin Break Milford — Restaurant in Devonport-Takapuna

The owner was very rude and refused to take an order from us just because he was asked to give us a straw from my friend who got coffee from other place..

But, 4 of us already bought coffee from this place before asking for a straw. I understand that he could be unhappy to be asked for a straw who bought coffee from other place. However, im sure there were better ways of approaching that he could not provide us a straw rather than being angry and refusing to take another order for my other friends.

Ordered spinach & feta quiche and a medium mocha (total $12.2). Service was ok, nothing special. Quiche - The pastry was not flaky enough and not crumbly, was more like a puff pastry a bit wet (I don't want to say "soggy"). Mocha - tasted more as a hot chocolate, not enough strong coffee flavour. Both coffee and quiche were served too hot, not edible/ drinkable...
