A Memorable Dining Experience I recently dined at Arabesque and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I walked in, I was enveloped by an inviting and elegant atmosphere. The ambient lighting, tasteful decor, and soothing background music set the perfect tone for an unforgettable evening. The dinner was an absolute delight. Each dish was a masterpiece, crafted with precision and bursting with flavor. The baked eggplant was a standout, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The freshness of the ingredients and the balance of flavors showcased the chef’s expertise. The service was equally impressive. In short, Arabesque is a true gem. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for an exceptional meal, this is the place to be. I can’t wait to return!

We went to this lovel yrestaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere with soft and fitting background music, probably the best we encountered so far in the Wairarapa and finally the food was simply excellent. We started with the Corn Cheese Potato Tikki, which we shared. It was so yummy! My wife chose the Seared Salmon Steak, and she loved it. I ordered the Beef Shish Kebab, served with marinated olives and tzatziki. I was just delicious. For desert, I decided to try the Apple and Blackbeery Crumble, which comes with vanilla bean ice cream. Well, we will definitely come back to try the other meals on the menu - or have the same again. Such a lovely restaurant and for anyone loving Mediterranean food a must go.

Absolute devine experience after a while. I was there for a lunch . Had lamb shank and omg that was one of the best lamb shanks i ever had specially with a side of gravy that had bit of Kashmiriyan kick in to it with tenderness of the meat. Perfect portion size and was absolutely loved every bite of this. And their halawa stuffed crepes were just heavenly. Perfect ambience and those of you who does not know about this place, this is where pinnochio and Salute' used to be. This is definitely a must go dinery if you are in greytown . They will not dissapoint you . Hats off to the kitchen brigade

We stumbled into Simplicity in Greytown for a late lunch around 3pm, and despite being between service times, the owner greeted us warmly and graciously allowed us to order from the dinner menu. That kind of hospitality is rare—and deeply appreciated.

We had a noisy toddler and an infant in tow, but this didn’t faze the team one bit. The owner’s calm, welcoming attitude instantly made us feel at home. Service throughout was genuinely outstanding—attentive, obliging, and never once rushed.

The menu is exactly what the name promises: simple, elegant, and easy to navigate—but don’t let that fool you. The food is anything but basic. We started with the scallops and the baked camembert—both were devoured with zero trace left on the plates. The cheese in particular was rich, gooey, and indulgent in the best way.

For mains, I had the Osso Bucco, which was so tender it simply melted off the bone. My wife ordered the duck—a notoriously tricky dish to get right—and it was cooked to absolute perfection.

To the team at Simplicity: bravo. And to the owner—thank you. Your kindness, excellent food, and relaxed atmosphere turned what could have been a hectic late lunch into a memorable and deeply...

What a delightful place to eat in the heart of Greytown. We were greeted warmly by the manager which set the tone for our lunch. I chose the Chicken Iskender and my friend had the Ricotta and Spinach stuffed Chicken. There was a bit of spice on the chicken but it wasn't overpowering. The accompaniments complemented the dish and there was nothing left on the plates at the end of the meal. For dessert we both chose the Apple and Blueberry Crumble with ice cream. This did not disappoint. It had the right amount of sweetness and the inclusion of seeds in the crumble gave an interesting texture. The restaurant is BYO with a charge of $5 per bottle for corkage. The menu is varied with dishes having a Moroccan flavour to Middle Eastern cuisine or an Indian curry or even some European dishes. I would thoroughly recommend this little gem in the middle...
