They advertise Beer Club for several craft beers on their website homepage (screenshot attached), it was my first time so I show up at the time & location listed. But I’m told instead of the $20 listed, the price is now $30. I ask if the website has been updated recently, and the barman says no it’s not yet updated. I propose I pay the $20, they update their website, and next time I pay their new price; he accepts. I pay and sit down with a beer. So far all good. But 10 mins later the barman comes back, and asks which page I saw the $20 ad on, to confirm it wasn’t an old ad from a year ago. I oblige, and check their Facebook page, Instagram, and website, finding the details on their website (picture attached). He then says the price is now $30 and that I’ve just bought myself a $20 single-taster, and that I need to pay $10 more. I object that its neither the deal on their website, not the deal we agreed to at the start. They’re unwilling to honour their word so I leave. A waste of time. Updating websites isn’t difficult, nor is...
Read moreRidiculously over priced and totally over rated, the cocktails barely warrant that description with pitiful garnishes and cheap glasses. I have given this place 3 chances to impress but each time I felt disappointed and I would not return. $18 for a Highland Park 12 yr which is a standard entry level aged single malt is highway robbery. A 750 ml bottle retails for $64.95, with 16 doubles per bottle and given they get it at on premise wholesale rates.. do the maths on their markup. Slightly resembling a warehouse cafeteria with cobwebs in the ceiling and furniture from an op-shop, it lacks style and has a big attitude. The Hilton Princes Wharf is less expensive and this place wouldn't last 5 minutes on Ponsonby Road in Auckland. The bar staff need to go to hospitality school and my advice to them is before you pull up your socks.. learn...

I had a Amaretto sour and friend had gin, lime and Soda. My drink was nice, but didn’t have a strong taste of Amaretto which I would normally expect, but mixed well. Gin lime and soda, unsure if the guy was new, but seemed confused about request for pink gin, and asked for lime cordial but only had lime slices. Normally this is served on a large glass, but was in a short glass and very strong with little flavour. Would come here again, and hope a little...
