This place does amazing food. It's just a real shame that the business itself is not run very well at all and is a completely disorganised mess in our experience.

We have a 45-50 minutes round trip to Hamilton and had multiple really good experiences here Over the years and even prior to them moving to this premises. In the last 12 to 15 months we have had six maybe seven instances in total that will now ensure that we absolutely do not use these guys again.

Firstly, At the start of 2024 we have had food missing from our order. And when I say food missing, I mean almost a third of the order. When I rang, I was told to drive back and they will resolve it however making a 45 minute trip again with young babies to get food was not ideal. We should've checked but we trusted after many good experiences. Following this we did have a good takeaway experience which restored our faith however The consecutive five attempts to order including driving all the way in and them not even having started the order when we ordered an hour and a half prior to collection was a disaster.

Then the next time they charged us twice for items by making a second group of Our Family pay for the same things that the first group had already paid for Knowing full well that it had been paid. However, we didn't know that the family that had just left had paid this untill we all got home.

We thought today that we would try them again as it's been 3 to 4 months since the the other disasters. Only to have to wait an additional 20 minutes for a meal that was ordered atleast an hour ago. Which meant we got charged for additional parking which was soo expensive for the rime were were there especially ontop of ordering for a big family.

Unless your dinning in and you're really desperate I really wouldn't risk place. especially if you have young children that need to be fed by certain times etc. and CHECK THEY DONT...

So sad tonite have dinner in this place It's lots of empty chair and we can't decide where we want to seat. If busy day we do understand that's the table all fully booked. But tonite first of all it's not busy and lots of empty chair also food tonite taste not the best like normally we used to eat. Service tonite very sad and disappointing 😞 from food or the waiters. I been eating in this place many times and the Old staff much better then the new staff right now.

So you Said that I'm insist to sitting in the green couches I asked her if I can siting there and then she said that that's was booked for special. Ok I move and then I move to different table which is the two table one and she said oh that's for 4 people's. And just we about leave couple arrive and tooked the table that's we were told to not sitting because that's for 4 people. My husband didn't eat a think at your restaurant because of this. And I don't finished my meals as well. Thanks to your Staff for ruin our dinner. Also we our food we used to order taste not the same shrimp fried Rice the rice to soft and to much oil, beef spicy noodles not much taste anymore onion...

Honestly, this is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Hamilton CBD. The place is tide and clean, design is modern and cultural from recent renovation. The food is authentic and very tasty. Much much tastier than Si Chuan from around the corner. Plenty choices from the menu and kitchen is fast. Service is good but could be more friendlier and with smiles from all staff. No issues with parking as free CBD 2 hours meter parking at front and nearby streets. The food is mouth watering and price is very reasonable for what you can buy in CBD in general. Highly recomended and they are open most days through Xmas/NY breaks. Expect to queue up during busy hours of the day so booking is highly recomended. First order using Uber app while dining in will get you 20 dollars off of the bill till end of the year. Give it a go, especially if you are from outside Hamilton. Yes, this is better than any Si Chuan style restaurants in Auckland. We are sure to return...
