I went for dinner with my partner and baby on 23/06/19. The customer service was shocking (aside from the manager on duty- who seemed like the only one who wanted to do her job). After my order was taken, I asked the male waiter if he could please warm up my babyâs food in the microwave for about 35 seconds and to bring me a spoon. Mind you, this was 120mL of pouch food which shouldnât take very long to heat up as it wasnât frozen or in the fridge before hand etc. He came back out with the bowl of food, not only without a spoon, but also as if he put the food in a freezer rather than a microwave. I asked him again as he was wiping down the table behind us, âcan I please get a spoonâ, he says âoh yupâ - not at all fazed or apologetic that he didnât bring it the first time. I turn around back to my partner, and the next thing I know, this boy is walking around, serving another table and taking their order. I wait a minute to see if heâll realize he hasnât done what I asked of him twice. Heâs standing around the little kiosk at the back of the restaurant, not attending to anything. So I ask another female waitress if she could bring me a spoon and warm up my food some more as the boy didnât seem like he did anything with it. She brought me back a spoon, and I waited 4-5 odd minutes for this baby food to be returned to me. My baby is also nagging and fussy by this point because sheâs hungry. I call over the manager and asked if she could check on this food, if itâs been heated up and ready. The previous waitress brings me back the baby food and I noticed that the bowl the baby food was in is now different and the amount of baby food I had wasnât the same, cut down about 1/2 the amount - 120mL isnât very much for my 11 month old, let alone having less the food that we initially had. Iâm furious. What usually would be a few + tablespoons of food, turned to a couple teaspoons of food. I asked for the manager and she said she had switched out the bowls as she thought the bowl was too hot to handle (fair enough) and that there was less baby food maybe because she hadnât scraped the previous bowl right down. She was quick to try help us resolve the situation by offering to mash some veggies for us (I asked for mashed potato). But upon going back to my table, none of that made sense to me as the food was still not very warm (freezing cold spots in the food), so how can the food be cold still if youâre claiming the bowl was too hot to handle? Doesnât make sense to me. I wouldnât be surprised if the previous bowl was knocked over which explains why the bowl was switched and there was less baby food. The food was alright and the staff really need a pep in their step, especially the younger ones. A smile or âsorryâ would go a long way even if you mess up. The only reason why Iâm giving a star at all is because of the manager who tried to reconsolidate us by offering us a solution and trying her best to make the rest of our...
Read moreI used to come here very often, as I recon the food is yummy and the staffs are always nice and polite.
Until I had a terrible experience here a few weeks ago, I brought my family and dine in. We ordered some pasta and pizza. Everything was normal and fine, until my dad cut his pizza into pieces and found a hair at the bottom of that slice of pizza, near the crust part (so not the topping). We were surprised as this has never happened before so we told one of the waiters. He was very polite and apologetic, told us that it has not happened before and hope we wonât find another hair in the other slices. However we kept eating and found there is another hair there. So I told him about the issue again, he handled it professionally and promised to bring us a new pizza.
So after awhile we got the new pizza, and unfortunately there was another hair when we cut the pizza. So I walked to the cashier, waited until one of the staffs was available (as I saw that people are lining up to pay) and I told him the problem. Later on, he brought us another new pizza (this one has no hair) and apologized. However, during the process, he told me he saw that me and my mom were playing with our hair (we did not) while we were eating (PS. I bleached my hair so I am blonde, my mom has brown hair, but all the hair we found was pure black hair, it has both short and long ones, and we found them at the bottom of the food, not on top, so I donât think we drop it there) and said that maybe thatâs why there is hair there. And he said that I should not talk about that problem at the front desk in front of the other customers, as it is the âproblem between me and himâ - while I only spoke when he asked me âhow can I helpâ at the front desk, I did not shout at anyone or just speak when I walked up there. Overall, he is polite, but to me it is just an irresponsible responds. Due to the attitude, I will never go back, thanks for...
Read more14 of booked for a birthday dinner before ten pin bowling. Parking was a nightmare but once in the restaurant the fun started. Drink orders were taken by the waitress, so far so good. They get delivered. Food orders taken, in a spasmodic order. She clarified entre versus main with a few. Sorted. Entres start coming. The easiest one to do, cheesy garlic bread never arrives. The last person to order gets his main. Ask the waitress re garlic bread. She will check it out. Never see her again. More mains come. Waiter this time, so mention missing garlic bread. Barks response at me. No plates are collected from entres and had to flag down another waiter to get another drink. No one else was asked if they wanted another nor did anyone ever approach us to ask if anyone wanted another drink, was everything OK, would we like to see a desert menu. I ended up taking plates and putting on the counter. Asked waiter again about missing garlic bread before all of the mains came out and was extremely rude. All of the mains were now out, some of them were cold but eaten because we didn't have time to wait for a replacement, and the garlic bread then turns up. Seriously. It was supposed to be an entre as per the menu. Told them to take it away. Wrote a complaint on a customer feedback card asking for an email response. I haven't had one, however the manager did react quickly having a meeting with staff going through the complaint, then phoned daughter to chat with her and apologize, has also sent something in post. Vouchers I'm picking. Part of the problem on the night from my observation was they let too many Uber Eats orders come in and couldn't cope. Dining in should always come first. They should have turned off the Uber eats and upped the customer...
