Poor customer experience – Visited with family and paid nearly $100 in advance for the food ordered at the counter. Later, while eating, we ordered butter naan, and after finishing our meal, we paid for the naan at the counter. Also requested that the payment be communicated to the staff member who initially took our order. However, as we were leaving, that same staff member, who was sitting outside the restaurant at the time, approached us in a rude and accusatory way, making us feel embarrassed in front of other customers asking if we had paid for the naan. Without first checking with the staff inside, he directly approached us outside the restaurant and spoke rudely. This experience was both unprofessional and disappointing. I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure a better customer experience and that customers are treated with respect. EDIT / UPDATE: Thank you for acknowledging the issue — but let me be clear: no one comes to a restaurant to chase free meals. What customers expect is basic respect, professionalism, and accountability. Being publicly accused after paying in full is not only embarrassing but completely unacceptable. Offering a free meal afterwards feels like an attempt to cover up bad behaviour, rather than genuinely fixing the problem at its root. If you truly care about customer experience, focus on training your staff to communicate and behave better — that would mean far more than any...
Read moreWe had the normal thali & the punjabi thali. Couple of curries were good but were given 2 tablespoons of rice and 1 small roti. Honestly, it's a small portion for an adult and we are not big eaters. Punjabi thali was about $7 more and you get some raw chopped onion and a pickle with 1 extra curry but the rice is even smaller than normal thali. Such a rip off. I'd rather pay a bit more and get a decent portion. Also we were given jalebi with the thali which tasted like dish washing liquid, very unpleasant. Then we bought gulab jamun for takeaway which also tasted like dish washing liquid, not very pleasant to eat. All of us haven eaten jalebi & gulab jamun before and never experienced such an awful taste of dishwashing liquid before. The guy at the counter was physically there but seem like his mental state was elsewhere. Asked for 9 gulab jamuns for takeaway and only got given 3. I must thank him for not giving me 9 because it would have ended up in the rubbish. I also asked for it to be not heated but he heated and charged $1 for the containers. Overall, not a pleasant experience. I would not come here. It's a perfect place for someone who want food for hunger and not spend more than $15. Disappointed with food &...
