The food is fantastic here, youll get hungry just smelling the pleasant aroma from the shop.

The dishes are flavourful, well cooked, affordable and presented in a similar style to a mamak in Malaysia or hawker centre in Singapore.

The menu is tailored more towards Chinese dishes with some indian curries and malay dishes available.

We came here for lunch a couple of days ago. We had wan tan hor and fried kuet teaw (names according to their menu). The dishes were not exactly as we expected. The fried kuet teaw was sweet. Not the taste I expected. But it's a matter of individual taste. Some may like it sweet. So if you prefer a sweet taste then the fried kuet teaw is recommended but if you, like me don't like the sweet taste then it is not recommended. As for the wan tan hor, well just give it a go. This is the best char kuay teow I've had in my life. Don't be put off by the fact that it's in a food court or the presentation is average - the flavours are mouthwateringly delicious. It's on my top places to eat when visiting Auckland from overseas, it's just that good.
