Very sweet dishes... Be careful if you are worried about the sugar intake, this restaurant adds too much sugar to the dishes. I couldn't finish the Pad Thai I had ordered. I cannot believe that they charged $2 for the rice when I ordered a curry. How did they think I'm going to eat the curry, like a soup??? Curries always have to come with rice included. I understand if you want Extra rice they would charge extra but not with the first one. Very disappointed when I checked the bill. Please avoid go to the dirty and messy toilets. I've been there at 17:15, almost we were the first clients in this service and the toilets were absolutely filthy. I observed that the door handles have never been cleaned or sanitized. Staff wearing a mask but looks like they don't care much about cleanliness. I ordered a mix platter with four little snacks. They were fresh and tasty but, $12 was a too much pricy. No good value for money. At least had to be double the portions. I will not come back under any...
Read moreWe were recommended Thai Peninsular and what a great place for a meal. We were greeted, seated, and given cold water not long after we walked in. We loved the decor. The seats are clean & comfortable, we really loved both of the accent walls. The music was subtle and easy listening. The lemon, lime & bitters we ordered was perfectly balanced between sour & bitter.
The starters were juicy, full of flavour with the best pastry crunch. They came with wonderfully made sauces & a little garnish that made the appititizers just that much more appitizing.
The sliced duck Thai green curry was absolutely yum. The curry was creamy & had a nice warmth to it. There was a lovely supply of different vegetables & the duck was cooked wonderfully. Although I would call the sliced duck, duck chunks.
The mud cake was not as decadent as I hoped, but it was fluffy, and I was given a very generous slice.
The meal was served seamlessly and apart from a slightly slower service for dessert everything arrived...
Read moreI arrived at Thai Peninsula at 7:30 pm on a Wednesday night and was pleased to see plenty of tables available. The staff promptly greeted me, assisted with parking validation, and seated me immediately. The service was incredibly fast; my food arrived in under 15 minutes from the time I ordered.
The food itself was delicious, and the portion sizes were just right – generous without being overwhelming. The staff were friendly and helpful, contributing to a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. While the restaurant has a slightly upscale feel, it's not pretentious. Even dressed casually in shorts and a hoodie, I felt completely comfortable.
I especially recommend Thai Peninsula for vegetarians and vegans. They offer a wide variety of plant-based options. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I'll...
