"Delicious Food, Great Atmosphere—Fish Noodle Soup is a Must-Try!"

We recently visited Sri Ahkota in Browns Bay and had such a wonderful experience that we had to share it! This restaurant is a sister location to the Sri Ahkota in Epsom, but we found this one even better in many ways. Located right in the heart of Browns Bay, it’s super convenient if you’re in the area, and the restaurant itself is much bigger, offering a more comfortable and spacious setting to enjoy your meal. The seating is great, and there’s plenty of room, which made for a more relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.

As for the food, it was just as delicious as we’ve come to expect from Sri Ahkota! The flavors were spot-on and consistent with what we’ve enjoyed at the Epsom location. The fish noodle soup was the absolute highlight of the meal—an absolute killer dish! It’s incredibly flavorful, rich, and just hits all the right notes. If you’re a fan of noodle soups or looking for something comforting and packed with flavor, this is the dish you can’t miss. We would come back just for that alone!

The rest of the menu was great too, with solid options across the board. While the other dishes were fine and enjoyable, the fish noodle soup really stood out and made the meal memorable. It’s clear that this is their signature dish for a reason.

The service was friendly and efficient, and despite the restaurant being a bit busier than expected, the staff handled everything with ease, ensuring we had a pleasant dining experience from start to finish.

Overall, we had a fantastic time at Sri Ahkota Browns Bay, and it’s definitely a place we’ll be returning to whenever we’re nearby. We went to dine here on mother's day and ordered chicken rendang. We received mixed beef and chicken in our dish. We adviced the waiter that we ordered chicken and beef is culturally inappropriate for us to consume. They took it away and brought it back with presumably chicken. We ate what we could and asked for the rest to be taken away. When my husband decided to dig into it again that night he found a piece of beef. They obviously picked whatever pieces of beef they could see and served us the same dish. This was very disappointing. Had a truly delicious dinner today. It was raining and cold, so I brought the family to the restaurant for a warm meal. We ordered the fish noodle soup, marmite pork chop, and curry beef brisket. Every dish was authentic and incredibly tasty. All of us loved it.

The most heartwarming moment was when I asked if they had any hot desserts since it was so cold outside.
