Absolutely terrible experience today (19/01/2019) ordering online from the Howick store for a family event .
Visited the store and picked-up my order. When I got home I realised that one of the sides was wrong.
Checked my email notification to make sure I hadn’t made a mistake. Phoned the store, initially speaking to one of the juniors who then passed me onto the duty manager (Hapeeta).
Explained the error with Hapeeta who then spent the next minute arguing with me that I was mistaken. I told her I was looking at the email notification. She told me that the order had been made correctly to what was printed on the docket.
I told her that the docket must be wrong then and that wasn’t my problem. She then said, and I quote, “Well that’s not my problem”. This is a completely unforgivable thing to say to a customer.
I told her I would return to the store to rectify the matter in person. By the time I got there, she had realised her error, and couldn’t stop apologising. They had misread the docket.
I don’t care about the mistake - everybody makes mistakes. But the awful thing was how I was spoken to by Hapeeta. She should not be in a customer-facing role. And if she is the franchise owner of this store, then I seriously worry about the...
Read moreStore closes at 10:00pm daily except for Thursday where they close at 11:00pm, so don’t waste your time or petrol driving here to find they’re closed. If you do unfortunately order like so many others, don’t expect a call or apology.
I ordered Saturday night, went to the store and it was closed - funds debited, no pizza, left hungry. The next day, I phoned and spoke to a lady who wasn’t the friendliest over the phone and seemed to enjoy cutting me off with her favourite word “actually”.
The store will cancel your order and leave it at that, hoping their IT process refunds you your money within a week. If they don’t - you can go to the store and ask for your money back. But only if you wait a week and not the next day. Quick to take your $$$ and slow to give it back.
Judging by the reviews, this isn’t the first time it’s happened and it’s been going on for at least a week or two.

I kept called them 4-5 times but nobody answered, moreover they started hanging up my call later. Later I went to the store and the phone was still ringing but nobody was bothered to answer, when I confronted them about why they don’t answer the calls one of the staff members giggled and said there’s some problem with the phone, although it was all good. They don’t even take the complete details like what base the customer wants, and just make whatever they feel is fine. It was a complete waste of my money and time as I didn’t get what I asked for. For no reason I had to pay extra. I wish there was a better store in Howick. I don’t who is the owner cuz even after plethora of bad reviews he’s not bothered about the customer service of the store.
