Here goes, I dont write reveiws only read them myswlf but All i was thinking a out in this place was doing this. Soooo, me and my partner went there with complete positive minds so I could not blame our mind set. The starter came of king prawns in a garlic sauce, no taste at all, could not even taste the garlic so we quickly ordrered a garlic bread to accomadate but we could not taste nor smell garlic on there. But with our positive vibes we jus said "o well its gona be fine when the mains come'". It was the wrong answer, completely bland again and I started chewing cartlidge with my smoked chicken pasta dish. So the staff there dont ask how ya meal was, jus whip ya plates away nor could you get cracked black pepper. We arnt complainers but had to mention what we found in our pasta. Fortunately we gota an apologies from the nice asian man. Most places that look visually terrible turn out to be great eats tbis is not the case, so if you like to look at 1 italian flag in a asian restarant and eat really bad italian food then by all means go along but if you would like italian taste food thwn either go to countdown travel to the city. Really bad service, the waitress girl could not understand me asking her, if the prosciutto is prosciutto or is it just ham because the name of the pizza os prosciutto but thw ingredients states ham. Turns out it was Ham. Negative stuff aside, Corkage is $1 a bottle which is great. Truth is I dont do reviews but I had to do this cause is waa the worse restarant ive ever eaten in. Just go there and judge for...

Read moreI have been going to La Padella since it began in Highland Park after buying the shop from the old lady who owned the record store. Well over 25 years now :) The owners are incredible and no matter how long it has been since I was last there, they remember me and my family and treat me like a friend who has been gone for a while. The Pizzanella is hands down my favorite pizza of all time (I can't imagine how many I've eaten over the years...) and my wife loves the tortellini. I highly rate the food, the atmosphere and 100% the owners and hope that everyone who goes has an amazing dining and food experience like I do when...
