I am utterly disappointed with the food and service we had over here. We ordered 6 dishes and non of them felt like Malaysian food at all. NOT even one. It is such a waste of money. Please do not come here. The food is very bland.

The waiter was very rude and insensitive. We gave him an honest feedback and he made a shocking comment on how the food will never taste like Malaysian food because the sauce is not from Malaysia 😒.

In Auckland we have many different Malaysian sauces and ingredients you can get from asian groceries. There is even a wonderful Malaysian supermarket - “Epacs” 5 mins away from this restaurant. I am 100% you can get all the ingredients you need to make the food better. I can cook better honestly.

The waiter should seriously widen his horizon in this industry.

Japanese food will not taste like Japanese food if the fish or sauce was not made in Japan?

English food will not taste like English food unless you ship the sauce or bread from Uk?

One word - RIDICULOUS

He was practically laughing at us like we’re stupid for giving a feedback and said “you can go talk to the chef yourself if you are unhappy with the food. The chef is just there”.

Mee goreng - is like plain egg noodles.

Char Koay Teow - tasteless rice noodles

Fried rice starch noodle - was very hard . Felt like the inside was not fully cooked.

Chicken & Seafood Laksa - not flavourful enough. This was the best one out of the 6 dishes.

Nasi lemak? - this dish was a joke. No sambal, you only get watery chilli sauce. The waiter even dropped our chicken on the table and didn’t even attempt to replace a new one for us. We were expected to pick it up ourselves and placed it back onto the plate.

Tonight we when in for family diner. The restaurant wasn't busy. Maybe about 7 table was occupied and about 16 to 17 of customers in total. We have booked a table for 6pm, when we arrived we have to wait outside in the cold for 10minutes before we got seated inside the restaurant. The service was really slow. Have to bring our order sheet to the counterfor the waiter to put in our order. It took 20 minutes for our food to arrive, and we was told our drink will be 15mins late. But it took over 30mins for the drink to be delivered which we are all close to finishing our meal. One of the meal my cousin order supposed to have rice with it but it came with chip instead. We order extra rice because we knew it will take ages for them to cook a new one. The rice arrived when my cousin finished his dish. So we told the waiter to cancel it because my cousin already finished his meal. After I paid for the bill, then realized the waiter didnt cancel the rice. I went up and ask for a refund, but the said was too difficult to do the refund and told me to take the rice home. Currently having food poisoning right now as well.would not...

“Disappointing and Frustrating Experience”

I ordered the C14 rotti meal for dinner, which looked amazing in the photos – layered and perfectly crafted. However, when the meal arrived, it was nothing like what was shown in the picture. The rotti was flat and plain, not at all as depicted on the menu.

I asked the staff why it didn’t match the photo, and the response was incredibly rude. The server said, “They made it now, you have to have this,” as if there was no room for discussion. Eventually, after some insistence, she took it back to the chef. We waited another 10-20 minutes, only for her to return with the same rotti, claiming it had been remade – but it was exactly the same as the first one.

The attitude of the staff was appalling. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, they were dismissive and unhelpful. It’s clear they have no understanding of customer service.

I won’t be returning to this restaurant, and I do not recommend it to anyone looking for a good dining experience. The food and service were a...
