Ordered food through uber eats. I ordered a kids burger with extra mushrooms and bacon and asked for no cheese, specifying an allergy to dairy and eggs. I recieved the burger with aioli (this is on the menu) however, when I called the lady who answered told me theres nothing more they can do as I should have specified no sauce as I said no cheese. Apparently specifically stating a dairy and egg allergy wasnt good enough. After explaining I order from them frequently and never had this issue, I'm highly disappointed by the customer service I recieved. I was then given the option of a new burger to be made, but i would have to pick up or have a refund. I said I would like a new burger but no way to pick up as I have a young baby (who has a cold and 2 older kids sleeping). so now I'm hungry and accepted the refund. But telling a customer they're wrong for not specifying no sauce, is unacceptable. I would have thought that people would be smart enough to read dairy and egg allergy and be able to act appropriately especially for the amount of money spent!!! I mean bacon and mushrooms added on...
Read morePretty average I must say and I never like to give a bad review but....had the camembert cheese and it was just okay, really needed a cranberry sauce or jelly sauce, not that great with tomato sauce. The lady serving seemed to be doing everything and totally needed help, our order came wrong so the wife's came with the cheese so that went back and didn't arrive until I had finished my main which was the crispy shanks, which was actually quite good. Wife ordered the marinated chicken breasts with ham and cheese and ended up with a burger which is what we sent back and when we finally got the correct order it was a couple of toppers with chips and a handful of lettuce and a slice of tomato. Unfortunately forgot to take photos as it all came at different times. I have added the Chicken cordon bleu photo which was a $27 meal with $4 worth of chicken on it. Not somewhere I'd bother going to again and I apologize for the stink review but it...
Read moreLooking to support local I recalled a pub/restaurant I went to years ago called Ye Old Bailey. I googled the name and rang the restaurant to book a table. When we arrived the restaurant was now re named The Bailey and was no longer an English pub. We felt quite overdressed considering our reserved table was more or less a bar leaner. The food was average, cleanliness was average and whole experience disappointing. The staff were nice. We were harassed by a drunk customer who stole food off our plate twice and yet was still being served alcohol. We were three of the six people in the place and felt some sort of security wouldn’t go astray. Intimidated and saddened considering we were there to celebrate a birthday really...
