The Cheeky Llama Cafe — Restaurant in Invercargill City

Was good when first came in but when I ordered I asked for no mayo and no butter in my BLT I say this at every restaurant even if it doesn’t say it on menu. Got my food had mayo in it so nicely went and told the lady there was mayo she took it then came back to tell me I didn’t ask for no mayo. Umm do you not just take what the customer says and sort it because as I had already said I asked for no mayo. My partners food then came he had cheesy wedges that also had sour cream as another staff member came over to put to it on table she made a snarky comment asking if that cream was ok when it clearly wasn’t actually for me. I normally wouldn't post like this but even my 12 yo son was embarrassed by the absolutely atrocious service so sharing in the hope that cafe staff will do better. We came in for lunch on the last Friday of the school holidays. Never got an opportunity to try anything as both staff just ignored us as we waited at the counter and served the people that came in about a minute after us. Terrible service. I would have bought hot food from the menu as well. We ended up going to the Majestic at the mall and spent $50 on lunch there. Please do better as this...

Staff were singing and having personal conversations. Which wouldn’t normally bother me but they were inappropriate for my child to hear. They also completely ignored my mother and her order when she was finally acknowledged she was told “I’ll be right back” ended up leaving after 20minutes of waiting.
