Blitza Pizza — Restaurant in Kaipātiki

Went here today and the guy who serve us is very rude. From the beginning we order pizza it he make us feel that we are not welcome because we didn’t order drinks. While we are eating the female staff take our plates because we are done with our pizza and but we are still eating our chips another rude staff. I didn’t notice that my friend is paying our bill so i stand up and went to the counter said to the guy who is serving us that, hi i am a member and he shouted at me and he said already paid you should say before payment. Ok i got you bro but hello i’ve been working in the restaurant and hotels for 32 years but i never shouted in any of our customers.

Been here several times but this is the first time i encounter this service to think that they are not busy yet.

And i can’t believe when reading all the reviews here how come the owner reply to guest complaints like that. Hope your character will put you where you’re...

Super salty.....we had one and a half slices each then gave up. Overall quality is not bad but inside of my mouth is almost aching from the saltiness.

+Hi! I will just add the note here in response to your comment. We had Mexican pizza and I think it was too much ham as well as the amount of cheese compared to the dough that made the pizza absolutely salty. My partner and I were really hungry but we just couldn't eat anymore.

I personally cannot agree with you that there was never a complaint about the food being salty as I've found at least 2 previous reviews clearly pointing out that the food was really salty. As you said in the other comment you cannot please everyone but as a business owner you need to accept the taste of the food can go wrong sometimes and accept constructive criticism of the customers.

Groups dinner - birthday celebration 8 people Saturday night Cozy restaurant, with dim/mood lighting, bar with cocktails. Price wise $$$ Unfortunately none of us will be returning. The staff were very nice and our table was ready at the correct time. Drinks and starters came out fast but mains took a fairly long time, we were served dinner as a whole which was nice. Reason for such a low review - The food. Extremely salty! It wasn't just mine, 6/8 people at our table felt like the salt was mounded into the food. Staff did not come back to check food... we struggled on. I decided to mentioned the salt level upon payment, which resulted in a "ahh ok sorry about that". I personally feel like it was dismissive and not actioned with the chef... Could be wrong, so unfortunate as this place...
