We went in for dinner on a Thursday night. The restaurant was relatively quiet, there was a family of 6 on one table and a couple on another. We ordered chicken satay (I forgot to take a picture), chicken yellow curry (hot) and chicken cashew nut stir fry (Thai hot). Our order took a while to be taken, I assume the restaurant wanted to finish serving the table of 6 first as we were only approached after that time, although ready to order well before then. The stir fry came through first - this was definitely the worst dish. It seemed to only be flavoured with garlic, perhaps in an oil form, as the flavour was so strong there was nothing else to taste. There was absolutely no spice to the dish, despite asking for Thai hot. The yellow curry came next which was good, tasted like your typical yellow curry, however this dish wasn't made hot either as ordered. Our entree, the chicken satay, came last and quite a while later. Tasted like a typical chicken satay so nothing wrong there but they were quite cold. Overall, not an overly expensive place to eat at but quality of food and service could be improved. I've eaten here perhaps 8 years ago and recall the food and service being...

lovely quiet place tucked away down the strip of Otahuhu . Food was worth the price you paid - we ordered spring rolls , curry puffs , ginger steamed fish and panang curry . highly recommend the spring rolls and curry puffs . they were big, fat and yummy . i had a big serving of the the curry with rice which was delicious. fish was good but overcooked . the waitress was amazing ! she was friendly even though she was busy and the only server but she was able to attend to our multiple requests and to also cater to my vegeterian needs . they served everything very quick . definitely recommend this place for casual dining...

Tried Chok Chai Thai for the first time. Decided to do take away.

Ordered 2 x Chicken Red Curry (mild spice) 1 x pork ribs

The packing was awesome, they had gladwrapped the containers and then placed the lid on to prevent leaking which I was actually dreading for the drive home.

The Chicken Red Curry with rice was absolutely delicious! The right amount of spice.

The ribs were also a winner, juicy tender, fall off the bone delicious.

That good I didn't even take a picture 😅

I can not wait to order from there again, and I think it might become my new regular

Made a late takeaway order for dinner on sunday night. Ordered a $16 chicken fried rice and $20 bbq lamb. The lamb was a major let down. Firstly from the photo uploaded....does that look like $20 worth of lamb. Looks more like a salad dish...with a side of lamb. So over-priced and a rip-off. The lamb didnt even taste like bbq as well. These guys were great when there prices were a bit lower....since the price hike....the food amount has decreased as well. The chicken fried rice was alright. But yeah...not coming back here again, quantity and quality standards have dropped.
