The first time I had dined here, there was a big cockroach in the door way of the cafe. We had notified one of the staff that it was in the door way and that it wasn't a pleasent view while we were eating our food. She blabbed on saying that it wasn't there problem and didn't seem bothered at all. We went on to tell her that it was her problem because it was in the cafe. She just laughed it off and told one of the other staff to go over and pick it up with a tissue� Not even a thank you for pointing it out or a sorry we didn't see it���

The second time I came here was for my sister's birthday. I didn't know we were dining here till I saw my family seated inside. I did try to persuade them to leave but they wanted to try it. Anyways we had quite a few children at our table and for the childrens menu you also get a drink and an ice-cream with the meal. We had ordered 6 kids meals and they all came out with there drinks aswell. After our meals we took the children to the counter to get their ice-creams. The staff member that was serving us said that there had only been 5 kids meals ordered and that she could only give 5 ice-cream cones. She had taken our orders at the time of payment and had told us that "WE DID NOT ORDER 6 KIDS MEALS" yet there staff served us 6 kids meals in total?? The staff member argued with us that it definitely was not 6 kids meals and repeatedly told us that we were wrong! We also spent quite abit of money dining here aswell and the staff member had chosen to argue with us over 1 ICE-CREAM CONE( really lady??)!�Way to go coronation cafe! You really know how NOT to treat your customers.�� Definitely not coming back here and ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY WILL BE NOTIFIED AS TO HOW YOU TREAT...

Shocking! Went there today to order a medium slim flat white extra hot (as they are usually warm at best) and decided to treat ourselves to a caramel brownie tart. As this establishment usually warms its cakes we asked for it cold...as it is. We were promptly presented with our slice and cream on the side. Taking the tip of the cake I realised the base was warm. I returned this with the waitress. Along came our coffee with caramel sauce added! I returned to the counter and approached the lady who served us who was in discussion about our cake. I informed her that the coffee had caramel in, she was adament we had ordered it with caramel. After much discussion and telling me to check my husband hadn't ordered it with caramel she finally agreed to change it to what we had ordered. She refused to exchange the caramel slice as she said she could not re sell it as I had taken the tip off. I informed her that only by tasting it did I know it was warm. Furthermore was she really going to resell a warmed cake to someone else? I don't think that is good practice. When questioned on this she became defensive and said no then yes then no. When I asked if in the light of good customer service she would change it she said no. I informed her that she would lose our business and she said fine. I was informed she was the owner!!! Don't eat here. If they feel that re selling reheated food to some unsuspecting customer is good practice then what else would they do? And if they don't believe in good customer service, when the owner gets the order wrong do you really want to eat here? Lastly, if they don't care about losing your custom...well not a place I would recommend. Stay well and truly...

Great location for a lunch or coffee out Good customer service Menu book/ wall boards has alot & should minimize on list to choose plus something more simple with a meanu card to sit with to make choices prior to order. Ordered a steak meal & wedges also a big breakfast..... Green tea for two Took 10mins to bring out was good timing Lots of seating clean restaurant. Steak meal had alot of chips than bigger sized steak & salad for the price paid at least the steak be mostly steak had hard fat like bone & size of meat unexpectedly smaller due to the hidden fat though the steak was cooked perfectly 👌 . The mushroom sauce needs Maggi mushroom sauce just give it a good kick to better the sauce. Dish could of done with more to the Salad s & a sluce of ciabatta bread. Green tea beautiful & hot but no waiter had asked if needing hot water to refilll. Had the big breakfast was expecting two sausages & hash brown but only got one of each. Tomato sauce could of had one Tomato fried next to the beautiful fried mushrooms but would of been nice to have a choice of scrambled eggs or omelet or sunny side up. Other than that great atmosphere & airflow . I would recommend ppl to try this out & make there own decision but I would definitely recommend to ppl to come to...
