Mangere Bridge is an ideal place for walking and enjoying sunset.

My husband and I had a stroll on Mangere Bridge on 26/1/2024. There were lots of people fishing alongside the bridge. Some people were riding bicycles as well.

The new footbridge looks great but is the beautiful arch really practical? It leans so far out over the water, is its 28 tonne weight not putting excessive load on the structure? Cracks appear already...
