I have a Weber Q1000, great bbq no doubt about it, I love it. The only thing is it doesn't have a thermostat. I rang up Weber in Lunn Ave and asked if they could sell me a thermostat that I could put on to my Weber 1000. He said to me that, that is a spare parts enquiry and that I'd have to buy a lid with a thermostat on it. What the hell!!! I have a drill and a 10mm drill bit do you not think I could just put it on myself? This guy was absolutely dismissive. I went to the BBQ shop 38 Lunn Ave who sold me a thermostat for $29.00 which I have now installed. Guess what.....works like a dream. All it takes is one person to destroy your credibility. What a load of crap that I'd have purchase a lid with a thermostat..... IS NO ONE FROM THE STORE GOING TO COMNENT OR DO THEY ONLY COMMENT ON POSITIVE REVIEWS?

Oh, this is impressive. Literally everything Weber in one place, in a brand new and well-presented store, with knowledgable staff. I'm a BBQ enthusiast and judge, and so checking out what they offer and the quality of the advice was a priority - they have things here that are, at best, difficult to source in NZ, and in some cases they have things I've never ever seen in an NZ/AU store. I asked a few of the not-quite-basic questions and they handled them with professionalism and good level of knowledge. I'm impressed. Between this place, their competitor down the road, and the cheap acessories and geat at the hardware places, I think Lunn Ave now has BBQ - either fast and gassy or low and slow - covered!

A colleague and I had the pleasure of attending a Weber masterclass event here last night and had the best time! I was blown away with how much you can actually get out of your Weber and the technology these days is incredible. If you’re at all considering a new BBQ I’d highly recommend paying a visit. Jason and the team there are passionate about the products and will be able to point you in the right direction so that if you do end up buying, it’s only going to be something that’s perfectly suited to you. I was blown away with how much you can actually get out of your Weber and the technology these days is incredible. If you’re at all considering a new BBQ I’d highly recommend paying a visit. Jason and the team there are passionate about the products and will be able to point you in the right direction so that if you do end up buying, it’s only going to be something that’s perfectly suited to you.
