On the 7/10/2023 around 6-7.30pm, I Called to place an order for four pizzas at Domino's in Mt Wellington. On the screen, it indicates your pizza is now ready; I waited a little longer because I knew they'd have to pack it. The indian girl inside chit-chatting with the delivery people who had just arrived on my pizzas while my pizza was in front of her . I didn't mind waiting till I was still waiting after 6-7 minutes. Hey sir, is my order ready? I questioned the indian guy at the front. The guy walked to the back and I heard them speaking in their language, which was basically Hindi. He returned and said she was packing the order immediately. I replied That's fine, thank you. This lady stepped up to the counter and said, hey sorry we only have 3 pizza's, and the guy who stated orders is packing now replied, so sorry we only did 3 pizzas we forgot 1 . My issue is, how come they forgot that I had called and clearly stated that I wanted four pizzas instead of three? First and foremost, they need to improve their customer service. Second, please make sure you have written down what your customers ordered because you don't know if these people have something planned to go to or if they needed these pizzas delivered somewhere else while you spend your time talking for so many minutes and then returning to the customer when they feel like it. Read moreI would like to share my recent experience at your establishment regarding a pepperoni pizza I ordered. Upon arriving to pick up my order, the staff member who initially took my order informed me that a mistake had been made and that the pizza prepared was gluten-free. They asked if I would be okay with this alternative. Being understanding, I asked whether there was any noticeable difference in taste or texture compared to the standard base. The staff member assured me it was simply a healthier option, so I agreed to take it.
However, I was then informed that I would need to pay more for the gluten-free pizza. I declined to do so, as the change was not initiated by me. Another staff member acknowledged my position and kindly offered me a complimentary drink as a gesture of goodwill. Unfortunately, the original staff member overruled this offer and sent me on my way without the drink.
While I was disappointed by how the situation was handled, I was primarily focused on the quality of the pizza. Upon returning home and tasting it, I discovered that the gluten-free base was thin and crisp—significantly different from the normal pizza base I had ordered. Read moreVery poor customer service!! I placed my order @ 5:20pm and was advised of a delivery time of 5:43pm. As I was tracking my order and when it was close to 5:43pm they pushed the delivery tome online to 5:53pm. I was a little upset but still waited! 5:53 passed and now it was again pushed to 6:03pm!!!! I kept tracking my order and the delivery guy gps. Called the brach about 10 times but no answer! It was now 6:15pm! I called the Penrose brach, after several phone calls & they finally answered. The guy on the phone advised that the delivery guy will be reaching within the next 5 mins!!!!! When I asked him why it took them over an hour to prepare and delivery my order he simply advised they didn’t have a delivery guy available!!!! I mean they could have called and advised me that out of courtesy! As I was about to tell him that a call would have been appreciated out of goodwill he just hung up on me!! This has been the most horrible customer service experience! And I will NOT be ordering from this disgusting branch ever again!!!!! Complete waste of my time...
