Experience differs entirely based on the staff. Depending on the day and the time, the staff can be amazing and give you your order without any hiccups. That's the standard worthy of 5 stars.
Then, more commonly, there are those staff who fail to give you your order perfectly. A few days ago, I ordered an Allstars meal, which was incomplete when it was given to me. I had to go back twice, once for the drink, and the second time for the bread roll. And even then, the exterior of the drink was covered in coke and the bread roll they just gave me in the default plastic bag, as it was the last one. If I had not checked the content of my meal intently, I would have went home feeling cheated.
To echo others, these staff tend to be the more casual and younger ones - and they are, given that the staff member who made this experience a negative one was chatting with friends at the staff door, as I was waiting.
As for the store in general, there should be enough capacity for those dining in. The cleanliness of the tables are so and so. At times the staff can be proactive and clean everything, at other times, rubbish can be left on tables for a while. It could be due to busyness, but even when it's calm, some staff members simply gossip amongst themselves. It again, depends entirely...
Read moreThe assistant manager of the night time shift on Saturday 25 of Feb 2024 in Royal Oak KFC, was extremely unhelpful and inconsiderate. When there was an older man on the other side of the road who had a fall and was bleeding profusely from his head. Whilst we were waiting for the ambulance the manager refused to give us use to a bandage let a lone a first aid kit. This manager seemed to not care that this older man was bleeding and refused to walk to see this man to see if he could come and give him a bandage. The restraunt was not busy and he was just sitting in the back. When asking if he could just give us a bandage to take back to the people looking after this older man he just said no with no care and walked off. We were extremely surprised with this response and lack of sympathy that this manager had as he did not care, that this older man had a serious injury to the head. We were very disappointed with this outcome and the lack of care...

We decided to go for a drive thru. This absolutely rude staff /incredibly disgusting behaviour, took our orders.
We only ordered 2 combo wrap with drinks, and 1 -6 pack chicken.
We were having trouble understanding her accent. So we repeated our order, she then sounded and responded “oh my god!”
So when we drove on the corner to pickup our food, we asked for her name she said “divka or divya” cant be sure now. We told her she was very rude, and that she should be more patient in taking orders as this is part of customer service.
However during the entire conversation, she has been talking back absolutely horrible, and repeatedly saying, she wasnt rude and that what she wanted to do was to make sure she gets the right order.
This is an absolutely disgusting staff! Ive never encountered such a rude staff in a kfc or any drive thru in new zealand!
I wouldnt be surprised at all if this branch gets similar low...
