This was one of the most disappointing experiences I have had in a long time at a cafe (please note I am someone who NEVER makes complaints however this needs to be shared). We added a side of Halloumi for $5 and only got one thin slice. When we asked if it was a mistake we were told that "Halloumi is very expensive and one slice is all you get" might I add it sits at around $7 at the supermarket for a whole block. We also had to ask 3 times for our coffee. There was no apology for the delay and a lot of other customers were sitting waiting for their food and many were also complaining when we left. Read moreThis is a lovely cafe, with great coffee and nice vibe. Unfortunately, the ‘toast’ is served as a ridiculously thick (4cm) chunk of warm bread. Not toasted and just too thick. It’s a dense heavy loaf. Couldn’t eat it. Would prefer properly sliced and to be actually properly toasted bread. It’s unfortunate because the eggs and spinach were good.
I told the wait staff about the thick slab of warm bread, and offered to speak to the manager, but they didn’t seem very interested. No one came to see me. Maybe they will care if it’s posted...
