We stumbled upon the place as we were walking along Marine Parade looking for a cafe. We stopped by to grab some hot drinks and a friend wanted something to eat too. The place is quite small with a few tables inside the shop. It did seem to go back a bit but not sure if it included seating. The menu is behind the counter over multiple blackboards and they did have a cabinet of food. The bon bon did look interesting, made with condensed milk. The hot chocolate was ok. Read moreHad lunch on the Deco weekend. I love my eggs and ALWAYS order eggs when I go to a café, breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was very DISAPPOINTED when my plate arrived with ONE egg and a bagel that had only walked passed the marge/butter. Admittedly when I checked the blackboard menu after, it did say "free range egg" - but this is a first for me! The bacon was good, but I opted not to have the onion & rosemary accompaniment and ask for a tomato instead - got half a tomato. Maybe the menu could offer 2 eggs at a different price?!...
Read moreOrdered my regular soy caramel latte and a warm blueberry/lemon curd scone with butter. The service was amazing, but they don't support Paywave so the gf had to cover the bill. Scone came out quick as I assume they just microwaved one. It was delicious, with plenty of berries and curd (the berries inside and the curd on top). The coffee was also very prompt, coming out right after I finished my scone. Unfortunately it was very thin and kind of weak. Loved the decor...
